The first Half of the day, you are starting at 8:30 am to the Muir Woods & Sausalito Tour, then you are dropped at Pier 33 to go to Alcatraz Island for the second part of your day trip. If you don’t want to do both tours on the same day, you can call us for a custom booking. 

Second Half of the day, you are exploring the Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary or United States Penitentiary, Alcatraz Island (often just referred to as Alcatraz or The Rock). Alcatraz was a maximum high-security federal prison on Alcatraz Island, 1.25 miles (2.01 km) off the coast of San Francisco, California, with America’s most ruthless criminals, including Al Capone, which operated from August 11, 1934, until March 21, 1963.

The ferry will leave on time at your specific time scheduled. You must be at Pier 33 in Fisherman’s Wharf 30 minutes before the time of departure. Walk, bike, ride public transportation, or drive (as a last resort) easy access from anywhere around the Bay! Take the boarding line, get on the ferry, and ride across the San Francisco Bay to Alcatraz Island. You can admire the San Francisco Skyline, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Angel Island from the ferry.

When you are on the Island, follow the cellhouse audio tour “Doing Time” (45 min) available in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

You can stay on Alcatraz Island as long as you like but allow yourself at least one hour and a half (1.5 hours) to cruise to the Island, take the cellhouse audio tour, and more time around one hour to explore the rest of the Island and its historic exhibits, and return via ferry to Pier 33 Alcatraz Landing.

Absolutely no charge for fuel and bridge tolls.

We have four hours minimum on all of our packages.

If your pickup and drop-off locations are further than 20 miles from our garage, we charge just $3 per extra mile.
